• A correct answer earns 1 point. Requesting a letter hint makes that agent worth ½ point; a wrong guess does not reveal a letter.
• The clock starts at 5:00. A wrong agent guess costs 30 seconds; a correct guess adds 20 seconds. Hints do not change the clock.
